The ANZAC Day Hub at the Torrens Parade Ground will be open from 5am until 6pm and is a free entry, family-friendly event with live entertainment, food and drinks, and games of Two-Up. Adelaide Casino Anzac Day Holiday
There was quite a large crowd there, but everyone was so quiet and respectful, even the kids. It was great to see the reverence that the Australian people (I guess I’m one of those now!) hold for those who fought and died to protect their freedom and way of life.

It was poignant to see people leave these rosemary tributes on the war memorial.
This side of it reads ‘They shall grow not old”.
The opposite side reads “We will remember them”.
After the service, Max and I went out for breakfast with a friend before spending the day relaxing, watching football, studying, gardening, and doing all those things that a good day off from work holds. I’m glad that we started the day with a service to commemorate those who have served, and those who serve now, far away from home.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
